"Easy to use, but the cash advance limit is too low"
The app itself seems straightforward and I like that the process is simple, but I was only offered a $25 cash advance. At that amount, it doesn’t feel worth using for me. It might help in a small pinch, but I was expecting a higher limit.

"Kept Getting Stuck on Verification"
I tried logging into my Albert account and got stuck in this endless verification loop. It kept asking me for information I’d already provided, which made me feel like my account wasn’t even that secure. Support took forever to respond too, so I was just sitting there frustrated and feeling stupid for trusting them in the first place. Really disappointing experience.

"Not as accurate as I expected"
I was expecting the app to do a better job sorting my transactions, but it keeps putting things in the wrong categories. I don’t mind fixing one or two here and there, but it happens often enough that it’s starting to feel like more work than it should be

"The app looks clean at first, but actually…"
The app looks clean at first, but actually using it got annoying fast. A lot of the menus feel tucked away, and sometimes things load slower than they should. I kept having to tap around just to find basic stuff, which made the whole thing feel more like dealing with one of those automated systems that wastes your time instead of helping. It’s not the worst app I’ve used, but it definitely needs some work.

"Repayment and autopay issues were frustrating"
Repayment was confusing, and then autopay charged me the wrong amount again, which was really frustrating. I tried getting help, but I kept getting transferred around instead of someone just fixing the issue. It made the whole experience way more stressful than it needed to be.

"Albert seemed fine at first, and the..."
Albert seemed fine at first, and the cash advance feature did what I needed it to do. But after a while, the tipping prompts started getting on my nerves, especially when I was already short on money.
I know tipping is supposed to be optional, but the way it pops up makes it feel like you’re kind of expected to do it. That part was weird, and it made me less interested in using the app again.

"Credit score seemed really off"
I checked my credit score on Albert and it was way different from what I was seeing on my other apps and even through my bank. That threw me off a bit, because I was trying to get a quick idea of where I stood, not play detective with three different numbers. Maybe it just updates slower or something, I don’t know, but it made it hard to trust the info. For checking my score, it didn’t feel that useful.

"Savings Feature Was a Letdown"
The savings feature felt useless to me. I expected it to actually help me set money aside or track progress in a meaningful way, but it didn’t really add any value. Just a heads up for anyone considering it mainly for that feature, don’t expect much.

"Notifications just aren’t that helpful"
I wanted the notifications to be useful, but... most of them just weren’t. Some would show up late, others felt kind of random, and the stuff I actually cared about was easy to miss. After about a week, I just turned most of them off.

"Couldn’t Cancel and Felt Awkward"
I tried to cancel, but it just wouldn’t let me. i felt kind of embarrassed having to keep going back and forth trying to figure it out, like I was missing something obvious. It ended up being way more frustrating than it should’ve been.

"I signed up because I thought it was…"
I signed up because I thought it was free, though maybe I was rushing and didn’t read everything as carefully as I should have. Then I ended up getting charged, which caught me off guard. The subscription fee really wasn’t clear enough to me, or at least I somehow missed it, so the whole thing was frustrating.

"Not what the ads made it sound like"
The ads made albert look like this super simple, helpful app, but once I actually used it, it felt way more annoying than advertised. Like, come on, don’t hype it up like it’s some lifesaver if the real experience is this clunky.
A bunch of the stuff they brag about had extra steps, random limits, or just wasn’t explained clearly until after signing up. The marketing made it look smooth, but the actual app felt like a sneaky little mess.
Maybe it works for other people, but for me it was disappointing and kind of misleading. I cancelled quickly and wouldn’t bother with it again.

"Account deletion was a hassle"
Tried closing my Albert account and deleting my info, and it was way harder than it needed to be. Lots of back-and-forth, unclear steps, and I couldn’t tell what actually got removed.
Support took a while too. Still not fully sure the account is gone, which is annoying. Won’t use it again.
"i mean, I opened an Albert investment..."
i mean, I opened an Albert investment account thinking it would be simple, but I ended up regretting it. The app was more confusing than I expected, and my transfer just seemed to sit there without any clear update. When I reached out, I couldn’t really get a straight answer about what was going on, and the support replies felt short and not very helpful.
Trying to close the account wasn’t much better. At that point I just wanted my money back so I could move on, but even that felt like more of a hassle than it needed to be. I don’t see myself using it again.
"I tried Albert for a cash advance…"
I tried albert for a cash advance because I needed money fast, or at least I thought it would be fast. The app kind of made it seem like the money would come through quickly, but then I just ended up waiting — checking the app over and over. By the time the money finally showed up, it didn’t really help me anymore. it was frustrating and just not worth it for me.

"Bank Linking Was a Total Headache"
I tried linking my bank account about five different times, and it kept failing or telling me my info was wrong even though I knew it wasn’t. It finally connected at one point, but then it disconnected again the next day. When I reached out to support, I just got those generic copy-and-paste replies that feel like they came from a bot, which made it even more frustrating. If the whole app depends on the bank connection working, that part really needs to be solid. I got tired of fighting with automated errors and canned responses, so I deleted it

"Basic advice that just wasted my time"
I tried Albert because I wanted actual money advice, not the same obvious stuff everyone already knows. Most of what I got was basically “spend less” or “save more,” which, yeah, thanks, I figured that part out already. I kept waiting for something that actually connected to my bills or my situation, but it never really did.
For a finance app, I expected way more. Instead I just ended up getting irritated because the advice felt lazy and not very useful. Maybe other people get more out of it, but for me it was frustrating and definitely not worth the time.

"Decent app, but support needs to step up"
I do like some things about Albert, but the customer support has been frustrating. I had a question about my account and it took days to get any kind of response, and when they finally replied, it didn’t really solve the issue. The worst part is just sitting there with no updates and no clear timeline. If people are trusting an app with their money and account info, the company needs to be more accountable and communicate better. It’s not the worst app I’ve used, but support really needs to be faster and more helpful

"Getting money out was more of a hassle than I expected"
I like the idea behind Albert, but getting my money out of savings was kind of annoying. In my case, it took longer than I thought it would, and the app didn’t really make it clear what was happening along the way. Maybe this is just how these finance apps are sometimes, but it was frustrating when I was trying to access my own cash. Not the worst experience ever, just not as smooth as I hoped...

"Genius plan seems a bit overpriced"
I tried the Genius plan it just didn’t really feel worth the monthly cost to me. Maybe it works better for some people, but from what I got out of it, I’m sure I wouldn’t pay for it again.
